Men in Black' unexpected performance by Will Smith and J Balvin disrupts Coachella

Will Smith arrived at Coachella for a surprise performance dressed in a suit and sunglasses — like his famous “Men in Black” character, Agent J — as aliens danced around him.

The Oscar-winning actor, 55, made his showstopping appearance during J Balvin’s Sunday night set at the Indio, California, music festival.
On X, the previous Twitter, a fan wrote, "J Balvin randomly brought out Will Smith at Coachella, look how happy he was."

Will Smith remains adept at it. Another admirer remarked, "He amazed the audience as he unexpectedly performed men in black with J Balvin."

"Did Balvin truly reveal the new prince?" Another stunned bystander gasped.

Smith performed a surprise musical number that included a big alien face decorating the stage behind him and green aliens dancing in the backdrop as he sang the movie's 1997 hit song "Men in Black."

Smith performed dance steps from the first music video as well.
The theme of Balvin's set was alien. Near the end of his performance, Smith surprised everyone by showing up in his signature "Men in Black" outfit.

Smith concluded his act with a memory-erasing neuralyzer, staying true to the "Men in Black" motif, and vanishes just as abruptly as he had come.

Smith had the lead role in all three of the "MIB" films, which followed operatives who kept an eye on extraterrestrial activity and erased the memories of those who saw it. He portrayed Agent J, a chatty former NYPD detective who is hired by Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones), an experienced and senior agent. The original "Men in Black" song, which was taken from Smith's first solo album "Big Willie Style," played over the opening credits of the film.

In 1998, Smith won a Grammy for it.

I will never despise this man because of you all. I apologize," a another viewer said, possibly alluding to the drama that erupted after Smith slapped Chris Rock in real time during the 2022 Oscars, which led to Smith's 10-year exclusion from the ceremony.

No matter what occurs in his personal life, Will Smith will always be remembered as a legend. See the way someone who has been performing for years leaves the stage and interacts with the audience. crazy," said a different enthusiast.

The fan was alluding to Smith's contentious marriage to 52-year-old Jada Pinkett Smith.

The way you can actually hear Will Smith rap and it’s not 90% backing track like most of the Coachella clips I’ve seen,” another fan remarked about his performance.
