Former Manchester United and Manchester City Striker Carlos Tevez Hospitalized in Argentina with Chest Pain

Carlos Tevez was taken to hospital in Argentina after suffering chest pains.

where the 40-year-old serves as head coach, issued a statement announcing that former Manchester United and Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez was admitted to the hospital.

The club stated: "Our coach, Carlos Tevez, visited La Trinidad Hospital in San Isidro due to chest pain. The initial tests conducted were satisfactory.

"He is set to undergo additional tests today, which were previously scheduled as part of a routine check-up."

Later, the club released an update: "Carlos Tevez will remain in the hospital as a precaution until all the necessary tests are completed."
Tevez became the head coach of Independiente in August 2023 and extended his contract until 2026 in December, after guiding the team from relegation danger last season to trophy contention. Currently, Independiente sits in sixth place in the Argentine Primera Division.

Tevez had a distinguished career in the Premier League, playing in 201 matches and scoring 84 goals during his time with West Ham, Manchester United, and Manchester City. He won two Premier League titles and a Champions League trophy with Manchester United before moving to Manchester City.
